Record Store Sessions: Jens Dreijer Invites

On April 30th, Jens Dreijer Invites takes over PAAK Vinyl Bar from 22:00 for a raw night of funk and fusion. Expect dirty grooves, open improvisation, and hard-hitting musical chemistry with Matthijs Geerts on keys, Thijmen Molema on drums, and Jahja Telussa on guitar.

Jens Dreijer is widely regarded as one of the funkiest bass players in the Netherlands, having played with artists such as Typhoon, Jennie Lena, Shirma Rouse, Chaka Khan, and KC & The Sunshine Band.

It also happens to be Mick’s birthday, the programmer behind PAAK’s Record Store Sessions, giving the night a subtle celebratory touch. Come through, bring some friends, and settle into a night that’s all about groove, connection, and letting the music speak.
