Straight outta Utrecht with strings that don’t sit still, Tobias van der Pijl (21) is bringing heat to PAAK this Thursday. Raised on classical, raised right, but somewhere along the way things got funky, jazzy and a little dangerous. He’s shared the stage with heavy hitters like Seamus Blake and Benjamin Herman, but don’t expect polite conservatory vibes.
